I bought this case for my Colorado 400t in order to protect it when I was out hiking. I was all ready to buy the Garmin case but after reading the reviews I went with the Foarm instead and wow am I glad. It fits the GPS very snugly. Since the rubber material is rough it is gives it a non-slip feel that I now really appreciate, as I have always been afraid of dropping my new very expensive GPS.

My only complaint is the lack of colors. I would have loved a bright colored case to make the GPS easier to find in case I laid it down on the trail. -- Exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this case as the others available did not allow the screen to remain visible or operation without first opening. I wore my GPS in this case on my waist belt hiking a three day hike in sub-30 degree weather and never had a problem. I often forgot the GPS was there when I tossed my pack down in the snow or on the ground. I was surprised when I picked it back up and nothing was broken. One note about the case material. From the pictures you can't see the toughness of the material. I thought it was a soft foam. It is soft to the touch on the inside so that it will not scratch the GPS unit, but the outside is hard and grippy. The closest I could relate the outside to anything is that of RHINOLINER material. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. -- Great Protection for GPS

This is one outstanding case. It gives great protection and I really like the texturized exterior. You always have a really good grip with this one. The cord is longer than I need, but I remedied that by attaching the loop hook behind the little toggle fastener and it shortens it just enough. -- I love this case

The foarm Colorado case is truly a superior product. I don't do many reviews, but i feel strongly enough about this product (and others from Foarm) to write a review. Once someone purchases one of their protective cases, they will realize that it is unlike anything else on the market and exists in a class all to it's own. Their offerings seem slim in the consumer product selections (mostly gps) but hopefully they will expand their line to include more cameras, ipod, mp3, cell phones, etc.
Also wish they had a case for the Garmin 60csx, probably most popular GPS on the market.
Rick -- Truly superior product

Although the Garmin Colorado has been available since early '08,
the only cases available (from Garmin or otherwise) did not allow
me to use the GPS while in it's case. I found this Foarm case on Amazon
recently and decided to buy one after seeing reviews of a similar case
that Foarm sells for the color-screen eTrex. Wow! The case arrived
the next day via priority mail (apparently Foarm is located in California)
This Case is awesome. The fit is perfect and keeps the Colorado's unique navigation wheel protected and the screen recessed below a prominant 'Brow' around the screen.
I was expecting a soft material from the pictures but instead it is a firm material that is really anti-skid just like the ad says.
Highly recommended. -- Finally a custom case for the Garmin Colorado!
